The Design Story

Behind a crisp, minimalist white facade with black-framed glazing and landscaped gardens, this Dubai Hills villa opens into an interior built for entertaining on a genuinely large scale. A book-matched marble atrium wall, lit from a skylight above, sets the tone at the entrance — the first appearance of a hanging garden motif in cascading green glass 'leaves' that recurs through the home's formal rooms. That same glass-rain chandelier reappears above both the majlis and the formal dining room, where a marble dining table seats a dozen beneath it, backed by a brass mini-bar trolley collection built into a book-matched stone wall. The majlis itself wraps a full perimeter of channel-tufted emerald velvet seating around a jewel-toned rug — a formal reception space designed in its own right, distinct from the family living areas. Elsewhere, the brief leaned fully into bespoke amenity spaces: a dedicated home cinema with curved, backlit timber-slat walls and tiered reclining seating in leather and velvet; a family living room anchored by a red velvet sectional and marble-clad media wall; and a rooftop finished with an outdoor kitchen, shower and BBQ station overlooking the landscaped garden below. Throughout, book-matched marble slabs, porcelain tile and wood veneer joinery tie the interior together, while brass and bronze accents carry the same warm, jewel-toned language from room to room.
